About

Hi, I’m Michaela Mitchum, a creative director and brand strategist working across San Francisco, New York, and Southern California.

I’ve been featured in The New York Times and National Geographic, awarded by Fujifilm, and named National Geographic Youth Photographer of the Year. I’ve served as a creative director for the BBC’s Planet Earth and collaborated with brands like Sony and Fujifilm.

My career started behind the camera as a photographer for National Geographic. From there I moved into film as a creative director, then into brand, where I found my real obsession: building the creative vision that makes companies unforgettable.

As Creative Director at The Brown Studios, I led creative vision for a year and a half, helping brands grow from the ground up. In September 2025, I walked away from corporate to found MVM Creative, an agency that builds creative visions for companies and scales them. I love building companies, and I’ve done it across every kind of industry, from tech and fashion to startups and Fortune 500s.

I’ve also served as creative director and strategist on three political campaigns. I’m a founding board member and creative director of Art Bloc Sausalito, a nonprofit community arts space bringing the arts to underprivileged youth through hands-on classes, workshops, and programming across the Bay Area and beyond.

San Diego raised me. New York sharpened me. San Francisco is where I build.

Built to be noticed. Made to be remembered.

Thanks for Coming
